This web page describes Optics, Photonics and Nanostructures Research in the Department of Electrical, Computer and Energy Engineering (ECEE). The ECEE graduate program includes two research thrusts available to students interested in optics and nanostructures: the Optics and Photonics thrust, and the Nanostructures and Devices thrust. Prospective students may apply to either. The research described here is part of a larger campus-wide optics community including the University of Colorado at Boulder and immediate area national laboratories and photonics companies.
